New Variable-speed Electric Gearmotor From QC

We're excited to announce a new standard-duty variable-speed electric gearmotor that's now available for our conveyors, replacing our popular 05V- gearmotors.

Since no additional controller is required, this 115V motor is a lower-cost option compared to our other motors. Unlike its predecessor, the new motor is available for both AS40 and 125 Series belt conveyors, making it a popular choice no matter which series you choose. With a standard 110V plug, it requires no special wiring to install and can be up and running within minutes.

The new design features an on/off switch and speed potentiometer attached right alongside the motor. The controller housing can be reconfigured in the field to any position the application dictates.

Beginning today, the new 05V- gearmotor is available to be configured and quoted in ourConveyor Configurator. If it complies with your application requirements, it will appear with other motors on the gearmotor selection page, where you'll see it listed as the 115 VAC motor with integrated controller.

The new 05V- gearmotor replaces the old 05V- motor that was discontinued by our supplier on short notice. The specifications and part numbers are identical to its predecessor; only the dimensions have seen a slight change.
