New! WLC Series Heavy Duty LED Lights

The WLC60 Heavy-Duty LED Light is engineered to withstand harsh environments. A conservative mechanical design protects against liquid ingress and state-of-the-art LED technology delivers best in class brightness. Available in two different lengths (340 or 640 mm), this smart industrial lighting solution also features four energy efficient dimming states to tailor the brightness and power consumption to the application. 

Other important options include a choice of polycarbonate or BSG glass window; a recessed mount model; rear or side connections and screw mount, magnetic mount and/or angle mount brackets. Currently offered with a corrosion resistant Ni-plated aluminum housing, a stainless steel version will be coming soon. This is a top-of-the-line product that is brighter, more attractive, easier to install, less expensive and more robust than competitive products.

QC Reduces Lead Times on Standard Products

We're excited to announce that beginning today, you will be able to take advantage of reduced lead times on many of our standard products. Our most popular products are now available with just a five day lead, while a selection of other products moves from 15 days to 10 days.

Products now available with a five day lead time:

• Standard AS40 and AS65 conveyors with MAE belts
• Standard 125 Series conveyors with MAA belts

New Variable-speed Electric Gearmotor From QC

We're excited to announce a new standard-duty variable-speed electric gearmotor that's now available for our conveyors, replacing our popular 05V- gearmotors.

Since no additional controller is required, this 115V motor is a lower-cost option compared to our other motors. Unlike its predecessor, the new motor is available for both AS40 and 125 Series belt conveyors, making it a popular choice no matter which series you choose. With a standard 110V plug, it requires no special wiring to install and can be up and running within minutes.

The new design features an on/off switch and speed potentiometer attached right alongside the motor. The controller housing can be reconfigured in the field to any position the application dictates.

Beginning today, the new 05V- gearmotor is available to be configured and quoted in ourConveyor Configurator. If it complies with your application requirements, it will appear with other motors on the gearmotor selection page, where you'll see it listed as the 115 VAC motor with integrated controller.

The new 05V- gearmotor replaces the old 05V- motor that was discontinued by our supplier on short notice. The specifications and part numbers are identical to its predecessor; only the dimensions have seen a slight change.

Banner iVu Update: Multipoint Inspections

The latest iVu series software includes updates to the iVu Plus TG to allow multiple sensors within a single inspection for a more reliable and complete inspection.

Using five to seven match, area and/or blemish sensors enables simultaneous checking of multiple features within a single inspection. This can provide inspections that are more precise and reliably detect small problems while ignoring noncritical features. 

In addition to an expanded inspection capability to better detect when product defects arise, the latest iVu Plus TG software can accurately locate where the product failures occur. Recurring issues can easily be identified, enabling users to address the cause of failure early and minimize waste.
